How many years have you been running dogs?

How did you get started running dogs?

At the age of 10 I was training my first Alaskan Malamute with a handcart in a park in Hamburg-City Germany and I started my first race at the age of 13.

How did your dogs get their names?/ How do you choose names?

They have Greenlandic names, Indian names and some fantasy names.

Why did you enter the Yukon Quest? What are your goals for the race?

I want to show that it is possible to finish the Yukon Quest with a good team of pure bred Greenland Dogs and Alaskan Malamutes.

Tell us about your favourite experience with a volunteer on the trail

The happy faces of the volunteers, who see, for the first time, a big team of Greenland Dogs and Alaskan Malamutes and how happy they are when they hear their original wolf howling.
