How many years have you been running dogs?

How did you get started running dogs?
Saw it and wanted to do it. So I did it!
How did your dogs get their names?/ How do you choose names?
I want and name them after their early personality traits. I use themes.
Why did you enter the Yukon Quest? What are your goals for the race?
To get back out on the Quest trail and to prepare for the Iditarod.
What do you love most about running sled dogs?
The time with the dogs, the bond we built, the places we go. And the riding!!
Tell us about your dogs, particularly some stories or facts about dogs running this year's race
95% of my Kennel is related to a dog named Silver. He was my first dog and the one that makes everything we do today possible. He died last year at 18! But lives on in the kennel forever. Most of my team in the race is related to Silver.
Tell us about your favourite experience with a volunteer on the trail
The smiles and smells of Stepping Stone!! Can't wait to get back out, and the Burrito.
