Eagle checkpoint spent the day showing some great hospitality to several teams of the 2019 race, while the Dawson City checkpoint closed for another year.
This afternoon at 4:00pm PST rookie musher Lisbet Norris (bib #14) from Fairbanks, Alaska scratched from the race in Dawson City, Yukon. Norris cited the decision was made for the best interest of her dog team.
Twenty-seven teams are still in the 2019 race.
