Race Rules
The Yukon Quest Official Race Rules govern all aspects of this epic sled dog race and apply to all mushers. Rule infractions result in fines, time penalties or a combination of both. Disqualification or censure from future races are applied in extreme cases.
The Yukon Quest Rules Committee meets regularly and monitors the race rules to ensure they are up-to-date with modern sled dog racing practices and continue to provide the best conditions for both human and canine race participants.
