Yet another way to get all the details as they come in. Short updates tell you who is at which checkpoint and gives insight to what's being said along the way to the finish.

This year 23 mushers are equipped with SPOT GPS tracking units. Not only can you see where everyone is across the trail, you can also find out more details about each individual musher -- how fast they're traveling, how far they are from their next checkpoint and more! All you have to do is select them from the list on the tracking page or click on their dog icon and follow the link to see the history of their trek.
We are resetting the GPS units as the mushers come in, so at times the tracking may be misleading. Our team is working hard to keep that data up to date for you and we'll keep you posted on Facebook and Twitter throughout the race as things progress.

Wondering what time your favorite musher has come in to the checkpoint? Or wonder if they're back on the trail? Our amateur radio operators are getting the info from the checkers as it comes in and putting it up on the web for you to follow. See when the mushers got in, how long they rested and when they took their teams back out on the trail.
