THIS IS THE DAY! Today all our teams get ready to start their 1,000 mile trek across Yukon and Alaska on their way to Fairbanks. Join us at Shipyard's Park for the Start of the 2013 Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race!
The YQ 1,000 mile race starts at 11am, mushers will arrive around 8am to get ready. The YQ300 race will start later at 3pm at the same place.
Join us in our headquarters at the Frank Slim's building for latest updates, food and a cup of hot coco to deal with the cold! New 2013 Merchandise will be available on site! |

Post-Race Meet the Mushers - Fairbanks Come and meet our 2013 mushers! Location: Alpine Lodge, 6:00-9pm Besides getting an autograph from your favorite mushers, you can have a drink with fellow supporters, meet our staff and volunteers, and share stories from the trail. The 2013 Yukon Quest Finish and Awards Banquet! The banquet will take place in Fairbanks at 5pm on Saturday February 16th at the Carlson Center in Fairbanks, Alaska. Don't miss the Special Awards ceremony recognising our winners. Tickets are $65 US, and include live music, great entertainment, a full meal, and a chance to meet your favorite musher!
