Musher Question & Answer

How many years have you been running dogs?
2

Tell us about your dogs?
I am one lucky cat and will be working with Ken Anderson's main team this year.

How did you get started running dogs?
Two years ago I came up to Alaska and ran dogs with Sebastian Schnuelle.

What do you love most about running sled dogs?
My favorite thing about dog mushing is how hard of a sport it is. I've swum the English Channel, ran 150 miles across the Sahara Desert, and climbed Denali. All of them have very hard aspects however dog sledding seems to take pieces of all of these challenges to make the hardest of all. I feel super fortunate to have the support and ability to race alongside some of the best mushers in the world. :)

Why did you enter the Yukon Quest? What are your goals for the race?
My goal is to finish the race.

What music do you listen to on the trail?
I do not listen to music.

How did your dogs get their names?/ How do you choose names?
They are all Ken Anderson's dogs.
