Volunteers are a crucial part of the Yukon Quest 1,000 Mile International Sled Dog Race, and Alaskan Brewing Company and K&L Distributors want to make sure they’re taken care of.
Alaskan Brewing Company and K&L Distributors return as the Alaska Volunteer Sponsor for the 2013 race. They provide in-kind services to the Yukon Quest and its volunteers, including product for the finish banquet, wine tastings and purse party, as well as merchandise and promotional signage.
“Alaska Brewing Company and K&L Distributors are key community sponsors of the Yukon Quest,” said Marti Steury, Yukon Quest Executive Director – Alaska. “Not only do they supply us with product and merchandise for many of our fundraising events, but they also help us produce sponsor and information signage for the trail, which is a fairly large task. They are dedicated to making the race successful.”
“We are proud to support such a great community event again this year,” stated Jon Blakley, Sales Manager of Alaskan Brewing Company.
Independently owned and operated since 1986, the Alaskan Brewing Company is based out of Juneau and handcrafts five types of beer year-round. They also offer additional seasonal choices. For more information, visit www.alaskanbeer.com
