Suitcase Media Returns as Official Visual Content Team

The Yukon Quest 1,000 Mile International Sled Dog Race welcomes back Suitcase Media as their Official Visual Content Team for the 2014 Yukon Quest supplying videos and photos for the website and social media channels.

Suitcase Media was the Official Photography Team for the 2012 Yukon Quest and covered the 2013 race independently. This year they are back and travelling the entire trail to bring highlights, behind-the-scenes action and spectacular scenery to fans of the Quest through photos and video.

“We are excited to welcome Suitcase Media back to the Yukon Quest Team,” said Marie Belanger, Executive Director – Yukon. “With two years’ of trail experience behind them, I know they will produce amazing footage and photos of this year’s race.”

Making up the team are Mark Gillett and Tom Barber. Gillett has extensive experience shooting in all types of environment from the deserts of Africa and Middle East to the freezing climates of Yukon and Alaska. He has delivered photos and text to national publications such as CNN Traveller, Telegraph Magazine, Runners World and the Observer. Barber is a freelance Assistant Producer at the BBC and MTV with a background in documentaries and live music production. With their passion for travel, they will make an excellent addition to the 2014 Yukon Quest team.

The 31st Yukon Quest 1,000 Mile International Sled Dog Race starts February 1, 2014 in Fairbanks, Alaska.
