Northern Vision Development (NVD) has stepped up to the table as a major sponsor of the 2014 Yukon Quest 1,000 Mile International Dog Sled Race.
NVD is the official Finish Banquet Sponsor for the Yukon Quest, a value for $25,000, in exchange for exclusive usage of their four hotels in the Yukon – the Coast High Country Inn, the Best Western Gold Rush Inn and the Edgewater Hotel, all in Whitehorse, as well as the Downtown Hotel in Dawson City.
NVD’s Coast High Country Inn had previously been the Yukon Quest Official Hotel – Yukon.
“We are beyond grateful for the continued support of Northern Vision Development,” says Marie Belanger, Executive Director of the Yukon Quest – Yukon. “They have been on board for many years, and now they have demonstrated their belief in the value of this event to our communities by agreeing to sponsor the Finish Banquet. We know they will put on an unbelievable banquet, and we all look forward to celebrating a successful 2014 Yukon Quest at the Yukon Convention Centre on February 15.”
“Northern Vision Development is excited to be part of such an iconic Yukon event,” beams Adam Gerle, VP Marketing of NVD. “ The Yukon Quest showcases the beauty of the North to a world audience and we warmly welcome these viewers to come experience the wonders of the Yukon for themselves.”
NVD is also offering special Yukon Quest rates at their four hotels: Downtown Hotel at $85/night; Edgewater at $98/night; Gold Rush Inn at $112/night; and Coast High Country at $98/night. The rates for the Whitehorse hotels include airport shuttle and free Internet access. Yukon Quest mushers, support teams, volunteers and fans can request the Yukon Quest special rate when booking accommodation.
