Participants, volunteers and fans can count on quality accommodations during the 2016 Yukon Quest 1,000 Mile International Dog Sled Race.
Northern Vision Development (NVD) is back on board as the Yukon Quest Official Hotel – Yukon. As a Major Sponsor, NVD will provide accommodations for the officials, veterinarians and race team in their four hotels in the Yukon – the Coast High Country Inn, the Best Western Gold Rush Inn and the Edgewater Hotel, all in Whitehorse, and for the veterinarians at the Downtown Hotel in Dawson City.
NVD is also offering a special Yukon Quest rate at their hotels for mushers, support teams, volunteers and fans.
“Northern Vision Development is a key supporter of the Yukon Quest,” stated Natalie Haltrich, Executive Director of the Yukon Quest – Yukon. “Knowing our race team is in greats hands during the 36-hour layover in Dawson helps us all rest easier. And the availability of quality accommodations in Whitehorse for our tired officials, vets, logistics and PR teams when they reach the finish line makes all the difference.”
“NVD recognizes the importance of the Yukon Quest as one of the Iconic tourism attractions for the Yukon,” said Rich Thompson, CEO of NVD. “We are delighted to have been a sponsor of this event over many years and to be a major sponsor once again this year. We certainly wish the very best to all the mushers, organizers and fans of the Quest.”
NVD is now ready to book rooms for the 2016 Yukon Quest. Mention the Yukon Quest while booking and receive the following rates: Downtown Hotel at $105/night; Edgewater at $105/night; Gold Rush Inn at $112.50/night; and Coast High Country at $103/night. All rates are based on single or double occupancy and do not include taxes. The rates for the Whitehorse hotels include airport shuttle and free Internet access.
