Alpine Lodge will be the home away from home for staff, volunteers and fans of the Yukon Quest 1,000 Mile International Sled Dog Race, leading up to the race start February 1 in Fairbanks.

Alpine Lodge returns as Official Alaska Hotel of the Yukon Quest, providing rooms for officials and race staff, as well as a special rate of $74 USD per night for mushers, support teams, volunteers and fans.

“The Alpine Lodge continues to offer incredible support for the Yukon Quest and its participants,” said Marti Steury, Yukon Quest Executive Director – Alaska. “We are proud to team up with them again as our Official Alaska Hotel sponsor, and look forward to the same great accommodations and service. Our entire team really enjoys the hospitality and family atmosphere they provide.”

Alpine Lodge is located about ¼ mile away from the Fairbanks International Airport. This will be the seventh year they’ve sponsored the Yukon Quest.

“The Yukon Quest is a very exciting time and we are thrilled this is our seventh year in a row to sponsor! The mushers, support teams and everyone have become like family to us. Our friendly staff looks forward to providing a successful and memorable stay,” said Yvonne Temple, Owner of Alpine Lodge.
